VEU program stands for “Victorian Energy Upgrades”. Is part of the state government’s efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and create a more sustainable energy system in Victoria. The program provides rebates, subsidies and other financial incentives for eligible energy upgrades, and also provides information and support to help participants understand their energy use and make informed decisions about energy efficiency and renewable energy.
Check if your household or small business is eligible to participate in the VEU program.
Schedule an energy assessment with accredited installer. The assessor will conduct an energy assessment of your property to determine the eligible upgrades and their corresponding incentives.
Based on the energy assessment, implement the recommended energy upgrades, such as upgrading lighting and heating systems, air conditioning systems, and installing renewable energy systems such as solar panels or wind turbines.
After implementing the upgrades, apply for the financial incentives offered through the VEU program.
Participants are required to monitor and report on the energy savings.
